Caroline Wink, BSN, RN, CCRN

Caroline is a proud Alpharetta native who brings clinical excellence and a deep sense of community to House of Dermatology. Her path to nursing was shaped by a passion for service and leadership—whether leading youth groups at her local church or championing kindness and inclusion as a student leader, she found purpose in supporting others when it mattered most. Nursing was the perfect way to combine her love of science, service, and human connection.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama’s Capstone College of Nursing, Caroline gained extensive experience in high-acuity intensive care units at nationally recognized centers, including top Cardiothoracic and COVID ICUs at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and the renowned liver transplant program at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. She also served as a critical-care nurse during the COVID pandemic in both Denver and Atlanta. These demanding environments sharpened her ability to think critically, act decisively, and care for patients with both precision and compassion—skills that continue to define her approach to nursing.

At House of Dermatology, Caroline brings the same expertise and empathy to every patient encounter. As the practice’s Lead Cosmetic Nurse and Tixel Provider, she specializes in achieving natural, balanced results that enhance each patient’s unique features. She finds genuine joy in partnering with patients—whether they’re new or experienced with aesthetics—through education, thoughtful guidance, and a conservative approach to care.

In addition to aesthetics, Caroline plays a vital role in the medical and surgical components of the practice, helping patients understand their diagnoses and treatments, developing personalized skincare routines, and serving as Dr. Patel’s first assist in surgical dermatology for skin cancers and other complex conditions.

Now back home in Alpharetta, Caroline is deeply grateful for the opportunity to care for the community that raised her. She is dedicated to helping every patient feel confident, understood, and cared for—inside and out.
